A Jansz. iconic, if we may say so. The Marinara Meatballs have been on the menu since the opening of our restaurant and ready for you to make in the comfort of your own kitchen. Yummy!
500gr minced veal, 500gr minced beef, 500gr ground pork, 300gr bacon, 30gr parmesan cheese, 120gr bread, 42gr salt, 120gr sour cream, 30gr fresh garlic and frying oil.
Mix all the ingredients, except the frying oil, in a bowl. When mixed well, create small balls with your hands. Heat a frying pan with the oil and bake the meatballs slowly until golden brown.
200gr carrots, 200gr celery, 16gr salt, 100ml red wine, 50gr garlic, 16gr basil, 400gr peeled tomatoes (canned), 200gr onions and 8gr oregano.
Chop the carrots, celery, garlic, tomatoes and onions. Add it all to a heated saucepan and bake shortly. Add the rest of the ingredients and let it cook slowly for 20 minutes. Mash and sieve the mixture.
Serve the meatballs with the sauce and top it off with parmesan cheese and lemon zest.
